From Mississippi to Texas

There’s something truly special about watching a queen step into her power, and my recent shoot with our reigning Miss Teen USA, Addie Carver, was nothing short of magical. Addie made the trip all the way from Mississippi to join me in Houston, Texas and let me tell you, she brought the energy! From the moment she walked into the studio, it felt like we were creating more than just photos. We were capturing a moment in time that will become part of her legacy. Her vibrant spirit, her confidence, and that undeniable spark in her eyes? That’s the stuff that makes a titleholder unforgettable.

Addie is a reminder of why I do what I do. Being a photographer means I have the honor of documenting the moments where dreams meet reality whether it’s the adrenaline backstage or a photoshoot that feels like a celebration of a queen’s journey. But this is more than just a photo session. We are writing our chapter in the story of Miss USA. The moments we create together, those frozen frames of beauty, strength, and ambition become part of the legacy that will live on in the Miss USA history books.

This shoot wasn’t just about pretty pictures; it was about showcasing the heart and hustle of a young woman who’s redefining what it means to wear a crown. It’s always an honor to work with women like Addie who are bold, fearless, and ready to leave their mark. From Mississippi to Houston, this was more than just a shoot it was a celebration of a legacy in the making, and I’m grateful to play a part in preserving these moments for generations to come.
